When used properly, this kind of technology can play an important role in managing your work and improve your performance.

The predominance of males in physician roles historically has been at odds with the concept of gender parity, but today we are witnessing a generational transition as greater numbers of females than ever before are pursuing medical degrees and leadership roles in physician spaces.

It’s become important for me to look like a professional for my patients. It gives them confidence that they are in the right place with the right doctor and they will be taken care of appropriately…which is sometimes half the battle.

As a woman in medicine there are circumstances that are unique to female physicians, but not only has my partner always stood by my side, he’s encouraged me to take the lead too.

Now, Raffi is studying at the school of his dreams in the highest ranked Optometry school in the world, and I was offered my dream job as a Labor & Delivery Nurse. The catch is: our dreams are approximately 200 miles away from each other.
