We are still not perfect, and even the longest lasting relationship is not without conflicts. However through our commitment to this marriage, we have identified our major sources of conflict, learned the best ways to de-escalate arguments, and create a loving environment that helps us to growth together.

Our lab coat fabric has technology on the interior to keep you cool, dry and comfortable, but the fabric exterior is hydrophobic to repel all sorts of fluids that you probably encounter on a daily basis: water, coffee, and bodily fluids, just to name a few.

On the days when I had challenging patients or everything just seemed to be going wrong, I would think of how my mother would handle the situation, and imitate her. It’s something I still do with patients to this day.

Now, Raffi is studying at the school of his dreams in the highest ranked Optometry school in the world, and I was offered my dream job as a Labor & Delivery Nurse. The catch is: our dreams are approximately 200 miles away from each other.

As a woman in medicine there are circumstances that are unique to female physicians, but not only has my partner always stood by my side, he’s encouraged me to take the lead too.
