Detailed Instructions
Step 1
Log In
Log in or register a new account. You can log in using the "LOG IN" or "Account" links above.
Step 2
Refer A Friend
Once logged in, you must click on "Refer A Friend" from the main account screen.
Step 3
Share Your Link
On the "Refer A Friend" screen, you can invite friends directly from your account or by sharing your unique referral link your own way.
Step 4
Your Friend Clicks
Once your referral clicks on the link that he or she receives, they will be prompted to create a new account in order to redeem the $20 in store credit.
Step 5
Your Friend Registers
Once your friend creates a new account, they will be taken to their account page and will see that they have $20 in store credit available.
Step 6
Your Friend's Credit
When your referral proceeds to check out, they will have the option to use their store credit. The order subtotal must be $70 or greater in order to use their store credit.
Step 7
Your Friend's Purchase
When your friend makes a purchase you will be notified via email that you now have an additional $20 in store credit as a result.
Step 8
Your New Credit
When you log in you will see the new store credit reflected on your referral history. You can now use this store credit toward any purchase over $70.
Important Terms & Conditions
Logging In - A Medelita customer must be logged into their account before they will be able to complete a purcahse using store credit. Customers cannot use any "express checkout" option when using store credit.
Subtotal Requirement - A Medelita customer must have at least $70 worth of products in their cart before they will be able to complete a purchase using store credit .
Expiration Dates - Every time a customer receives store credit (either from a referral link or as a referrer) the credit they earn will be associated with an expiration date. Once the expiration date for each issuance of credit has passed, that portion of store credit will be removed from the customers's account. All instances of automatically-issued store credit through this program will expire after 365 days.
Store Credit Limits - There is no limit to the amount of store credit that can be accrued by any one customer account.
Returns - In the event a referred new customer returns a purchased item and their lifetime order value decreases below $75, the referral credit awarded to the referring customer may be rescinded.
Abuse - Referring customers may not refer anyone who is an existing Medelita customer, including an existing customer with an account under an alternate email address. Referring customers may not use spam or send unsolicited emails to persons they don't personally know to collect referrals and may not collect referrals by posting on message boards or other online venues in violation of such venues' terms of use. Medelita reserves the right to cancel a referring customer's referral credit if it determines in its sole discretion that a referring customer has violated these terms, including through any fraudulent or misleading referral activity (for example, by referring fake people to Medelita, using false names, using multiple identities, email accounts or email addresses, impersonating another person, or otherwise providing false or misleading information) or if Medelita terminates the referring customer's account for any reason. Referring customers may also be liable for civil and/or criminal penalties under applicable law. Any other abuse of this offer as determined byMedelita in its sole discretion, may result in the rescission of the referring customer's referral credit and cancellation of the referred customer's discounted order, as well as both parties' ability to participate in this or future offers. Determination of referral eligibility and qualifying purchases, as well as any exceptions, are at the sole discretion of Medelita. Medelita reserves the right to verify and adjust credits at any time prior to or following posting and redemption.
Choosing Amount To Use - Customers with store credit available have the ability to specify exactly how much of their avaialble store credit they would like to use during each purchase. There is no limit on the amount of available store credit that can be used during each purchase.
Store Credit - Store credit is treated as a discount to Medelita customers for purchases made at medelita.com. Store credit is not a substitute for currency, nor is Medelita obligated to pay customers in cash in exchange for store credit. Medelita store credit can only be used at medelita.com.
Exclusive Pricing - Store credit is NOT AVAILABLE for purchases made on products with exclusive pricing and when paying using a wholesale account.
Web Specials - Store credit can be used when purchasing web specials.
Discount Codes - Store credit can be used in conjunction with any valid customer discount code.
Past Purchases - Offer not valid for purchases made in the past.
Third Party Websites - This offer is solely intended as a referral program for use between colleagues. Medelita reserves the right to revoke a user's store credit if he/she is found to have posted their unique referral code on any third party websites, including coupon sites.
Other - Offer not valid for referrals made in person or without first completing the online referral process summarized above.
Medelita reserves the right to amend, change, or cancel the referral program, store credit program, and/or all associated terms and conditions without prior notice.
