St. Charles Health System opened in 2001 and has since become the largest provider of medical care in Central Oregon. A private, non-profit organization, St. Charles now has four operating hospitals and 220 medical providers, including Oregon’s only Level II Trauma Center east of the Cascade Mountain Range.
