In a recent survey conducted by the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society, 70% of their members expected to implement the use of iPads in their hospitals by the end of 2011. In a similar study, based on more than 550,000 healthcare providers, Bulletin Healthcare reported that mobile access to medical news had increased 45% over the past year. According to their findings, Apple clearly dominates the medical industry. “Combined, the iPhone and iPad grabbed more than 90%," said Bill Mulderry, president of Bulletin Healthcare.
