Tiorra Ross is a fourth year medical student pursuing a residency in pediatrics. She lives life by taking chances and by fully living in faith, and she finds her most powerful inspiration in the biblical scripture "Walk by Faith, Not by Sight". When she isn't studying medicine, Tiorra enjoys mentoring pre-medicine students on her blog, where she also demonstrates the importance of a work life balance so that the younger generation understands that life continues even while in school.
In her own words,
"My favorite thing about my job is working every day with children!! My biggest challenge of my career so far is learning how to maintain a work-life balance. While in medical school, I have dealt with numerous deaths and unexpected family emergencies to where now I have learned that I must joggle it all because life still continues to move even while in medical school.
Professional style to me is maintaining a professional behavior, attitude, and appearance. It it very important especially for individuals in the field of medicine because we must represent ourselves in a professional manner while interacting with patients and colleagues."
